Our standards
Affiliate disclosure
HomeDosh is free to read and has no paid links or ads today. Here is how that may change, and what never will.
Last updated
Today: no paid links
HomeDosh does not earn money from any link on the site today. Links to stores are ordinary links: no store pays us when you click or buy.
What “paid link” would mean
HomeDosh may in future earn a commission from some links to stores. If it does, any such link or button will be marked “paid link”, and the store may pay us a commission if you buy something after clicking it. The price you pay would be the same. Each guide with such links will have a “Paid links” notice before the first one.
Programs we may use
We may in future join affiliate programs run by stores and networks such as Amazon’s affiliate program, Awin (for stores like Fat Quarter Shop and Etsy) and the programs of yarn stores like Knit Picks and WeCrochet. A link will only count as paid, and will only be labeled that way, when it runs through one of those programs. We will update this page before the first paid link goes live.
What commissions would never change
- Which products we recommend, and in which order.
- What we write under “Keep in mind” and “Skip it if”.
- Whether we link to a store that pays nothing. If the right place to buy has no program, we link it anyway.
Ads
HomeDosh does not show ads at the moment. If that changes, ads will be labeled “Advertisement”, kept apart from our recommendations, and this page and our privacy policy will be updated first.
